From July 13 to 15 the conference and workshop “Living the Cooperative City” will take place in Berlin. On the opening evening, Susanne Ayoub will present her novel “The Jewel Garden,” which centers on life between two cultures and two religions:

“The book tells of a young woman’s attempt to find her way into a foreign culture, to deal with its worldviews and rules; the high points and low points of a marriage against the background of politically dramatic times.” (Literadio Leipzig Book Fair 2016)
